Slaithwaite Health Centre opened in 1981 and offers a comprehensive range of health care services to local residents with good access and facilities for the disabled.

We endeavour to provide a happy, friendly, family service, whilst at the same time aiming to be at the forefront of general practice and to provide a one-stop health service to our patients. We are fully computerised.

Disabled Persons Our premises have suitable access for disabled persons and ample parking is available in the main car park. Health Promotion Many illnesses can be prevented through healthy living. At the end of the day everybody has a responsibility for themselves and their health.

Zero Tolerance We strongly support the NHS policy of zero tolerance. Anyone attending the surgery who abuses the GPs, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk removal from the practice list. In extreme cases we may summon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises.
