Medicines2home.com is a Delivery Only Pharmacy founded by a partnership of local GPs
(Dr Shamsee, Ward and Wilding) and Pharmacists to give you more choice and convenience.

Free Prescription Collection & Delivery*

Step 1

Complete the patient consent form in this leaflet and then contact us by telephone or email to let us know it is ready for collection (you only need to do this once).

Step 2

Order your prescription from your GP surgery, or,
If you've signed up to our Repeat Prescription Ordering service, either we will contact you before your next prescription is due to check which medications you need (If you have asked us to do so on the consent form) or you can contact us and let us know what medications you would like us to request on your behalf.

Step 3

If you have personally requested your prescription from your local GP then contact us by telephone or email to let us know that you have requested a prescription.

Step 4

We will then collect your prescription from your local GP when it is ready, dispense your medicines and have them delivered at a time to suit you or posted to your home or preferred address on the same day.

Step 5

When you next need a prescription, repeat steps 2 and 3, where required.

Alternatively, if you already have your prescription, contact us and we can collect it from your home or place of work, dispense your medicines and then deliver or post your medicines back to your home or preferred address.

Free Repeat Prescription Ordering

We will contact you by phone in time for your next prescription request and order it from your local GP surgery. If you prefer to contact us, we will take your prescription order and then place it with the surgery on your behalf. By using this service, you will no longer need to contact your GP surgery for your regular medication. Please contact us for further details.

Health Advice and Self-care

The pharmacist and our trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking, or healthy diets. We can direct you to other sources of advice and assistance if we cannot help you ourselves.

Patient Medication Records

Our computer allows us to keep records of all your prescriptions dispensed by us. This helps us check for possible problems, such as reactions between medicines and will help us deal with any queries you may have. We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code of practice on confidentiality.

* At present we are only able to offer local collection and delivery services between 9.30am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
